The ps4 (Figure 3) is a slim edge looking console that was released in 2013 by Sony entertainment. The design of the console makes people so attracted to it that they can’t resist from buying it. This small creation contains one of the most advanced technologies that it makes a console better than a PC. The specs of a ps4 has a AMD jaguar CPU with a speed of 1.6ghz, the motherboard is similar to a PC, which shows that the console is similar and powerful to a computer. The console has the ability to produce a 4k gaming experience, better than any other gaming platforms. Therefore, this makes the ps4 player gain the experience of real life games, making console really popular. The ps4 allows the player to do other things than only playing games. You can use the ps4 to watch films using Blu-ray discs and also connect external drives like USB. The ps4 uses the bran new Dualshock controller (Figure 4) which has many outstanding features. These features include a brand new touchpad, the headphone jack where you can connect your gaming headphones, and an LED bar which shows the colour of your controller that comes in help when having more than one controller because they emit different colours like blue, red, pink and green. In addition, the controller has a new brand new feature which is the share button that allows the player to film himself when playing and then share it in his PSN account so that his mates can see it. The PSN is a built in app which allows you to communicate with any PlayStation users and buy games online without using the CD. However, to access PSN you must have access to internet in your home or anywhere where you ps4 set up. All things considered, it has confinements: the ps4 is not comparative like the PS3 and PS2 as they have more clients. The ps4 doesn’t allow you to listen to mp3’s which creates a problem for the people who love music. Another issue of having a ps4 is that there won’t be any free games on PSN therefore; the user must buy a membership which can cost up to £36 a month. One confinements of the controller are that materials used to make the Analog Sticks are awful quality, after a month of using the Analog Stick surface starts to rub off causing the controller to not work properly and create glitches.
