System
analysis is the study of business problems in order to recommend improvements
and work out the needs of users. This phase is undertaken when the current
system is still studied with the alternative replacement system being proposed.
Overall it is a process which allows companies to study the old system and find
out the things required from the new system. This information creates a list of
user requirements which designs can be generated from and implemented to
develop a system that meets all user requirements.
